Open Wound

Synopsis:

Friendship between Sara and Alisa comes to a strange and abrupt end after Sara opens up about her urges which go beyond physical desire. Under the pressure of her surroundings, Alisa becomes estranged, leaving Sara to struggle with nightmarish solitude and repression which starts becoming monstrous.

Director:

Momir Milošević was born in Belgrade in 1989. By the end of his high school, he made several short films. In 2011 he graduated from the London Film Academy. During his studies, he composed music for several short films, emphasizing the importance of music and sound as the essence of atmosphere in films. Upon graduating from the London Film Academy, he directed the film Intenzivni udarac u glavu (2012), during which he worked with experienced professionals from the film industry. Open Wound is his debut feature film.
