Synopsis:

Imagine an old, sunny city port where the people are always smiling. Imagine a city where friendship is above all and doesn't take in count social and age differences. Imagine a city where the people express themselves singing without losing spirit and strength even in the most difficult times of crisis. That city does exist, it's called Cadiz and it's located in south of Spain. Cadiz is the oldest city in west Europe with 3000 years long history, and "Gaditanos"-Gaditans are people with open mind and big heart, result of cultures who passed there. The documentary "The Singing City" will introduce you Cadiz and "Gaditanos" throw their singing street carnival which represent an unique explosion of creativity , humor and musicality, which will certainly make you smile, probably get you emotional and maybe inspire.

Biography:

Born on June 18th 1978 in Belgrade, where he finished secondary school, studied jazz music and learned film basics at film school „Kvadrat”. In 1998 moved to Prague to study in FAMU, Department of Film and TV Directing, where he made BA in 2001, MA in 2005. He wrote, directed, shot and edited several short films, music videos, commercials and documentaries.
