Synopsis:
Befuddled optician John is in love with his assistant, Barbara, but he’s too scared of rejection to ask her out. When he discovers a pair of magic glasses that see 10 seconds into the future, he wonders if he can predict Barbara’s reactions to his advances and win her heart.

About the director:
A critically acclaimed theatre director, Jane’s first short film, Disconnected (also starring Carolyn Tomkinson), was screened in competition at 19 film festivals internationally and broadcast as part of BBC2’s Homegrown Hollywood season in July 2005/06. Her second short film, Left, premiered in 2007 at the East End Film Festival and continues to play the festival circuit. Jane’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s poem "The Rape of Lucrece" earned four stars in Scotsman at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1997 where she was described as creating "stunning visual effects". Jane also produces and recently completed Veils, a short directed by Dan Susman and starring Maureen Lipman.
