While searching for a film location in Belgrade, director Jelena comes up with a story about Marija, professor of political theory, to whom her ailing father reveals confidential medical documentation, the contents of which are subject of interest of intelligence agencies. Marija is fond of Marko, her student, until she realizes that he grew close to her only to get to her father’s secret. He explains to her that her father was involved in medical experiments that led to the deaths of a number of people in Congo. Marija is not able to verify those data, since her dad passed away in the meantime. She faces a dilemma whether to hand over her father’s documents to the student, or sell them to foreign intelligence agencies.
