Synopsis:
PostPanic director Mischa Rozema's new short film, Stardust, is a story about Voyager 1 (the unmanned spacecraft launched in 1977 to explore the outer solar system). The probe is the furthest man-made object from the sun and witnesses unimaginable beauty and destruction. The film was triggered by the death of Dutch graphic designer Arjan Groot, who died aged 39 on 16th July 2011 from cancer.
Biography:
Mischa is best known for his ability to take seemingly ordinary projects in unexpected creative directions. His background in graphic design and an intense love-affair with film, set him on a path of creating unusual visual directions by combining whatever technique was available, be it live action, 2D/3D animation, motion graphics or VFX. The past few years has seen Mischa particularly busy with high-profile digital and integrated projects for both US and European clients including Nike, Google, MINI, MTV, ASICS, Coca-Cola, and Vodafone.
