György Fehér always wanted to make a film that resembles the last print found of a very old film. This film is based on the themes found in James M. Cain's novel The Postman Always Rings Twice. The transposition of this story in 1930's Hungary, succeeds in lending the film a particular atmosphere.
György Fehér (1939 - 2002) was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. His film PASSION was screened in the “Un Certain Regard” section at the 1998. Cannes Film Festival.
