The key questions of the 0EURO experiment is rather absurd: what is the real market value of 'nothing'? And how can it be calculated? Foreign exchange and financial market on one hand, and art market on the other, both work with their own inner and not necessarily logical market mechanisms. 0EURO_BANK project aims to launch it's own paradox, yet somehow functional, market system.
Biographies of the artists and the groups:
Mladen Stilinović (1947, Belgrade) is known as a postkonceptual artist and a member of The Group of Six. He is one of the founders of the so called new art practice. In the 1970s he exhibited in the open as a criticism of the gallery system. Continuing the tradition of the avant-garde art, Stilinović stands for the social dimension of art: art as social criticism. He lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia.
