King Tales, scored and played by the modern hip hop talent, is a musical fairy tale of a lonely doll who falls for a gypsy and wins her love against all odds.
About the director:
Maria Juranic, an independent filmmaker born and raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, found a new home in Minnesota where she studied fine arts and filmmaking at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Currently residing in New York City, she works on mixed media shorts and music videos for artists such as P.O.S (Rhymesayers Entertainment) and Cecil Otter (Strange Famous Records). Maria has also worked on several feature films and has directed promotional and educational videos for clients.
Her short film, King Tales, was screened at The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis International Film Festival and other private exhibitions in Minnesota. Her most recent music video "Optimist" for P.O.S has been circulated on MTV2 and MTV Jams.
