The film starts as a trip from the film director to Mozambique where he is been searching for old films made there. However, strange premonitions make him sad. When it becomes apparent that his old father is seriously ill, he returns to his homeland Venezuela straight away. The film flows from the personal to a more overt interest in politics, representations of groups, political actions, collective, yet vintage and faded ideas of Utopia, back to the subject and the unchangeable fact of the finality of one’s life.
