Synopsis:
For a long time Benjamín Esposito worked as a federal agent, and when he retired he decided to write a novel. There is no need for him to make up stories since he can simply describe a true and tragic story from his past. Following introduction, a flashback brings us to 1974 and an investigation of rape and murder of a beautiful, young woman. The pursuit of the killer is remarkably difficult. There are no evidence at the crime scene and Esposito is left only with his gut feeling. His story becomes a wondering path in search of justification of his own life and a chance to face the woman he was in love with. Film received 34 awards, among them Academy Award for Best foreign film.
