The Heart of the Wise Lives in the House of Sorrow

The main character is Jacob, a young man in his late twenties. Jacob is trying to find his place in today’s society and create a life-goal for himself, a mission that he can make himself useful for.

The fact that Jacob is somewhat of an outcast in today’s society creates an obsessive and unrealistic mission and goal in his life.

Whilst working on his mission Jacob finds an “other world” in which he finds himself.

This world, paradoxally, happens to be the cities’ graveyard.

In 2001. with group of friends and collaborators re-founded „Kino Klub Novi Sad“. He is one of the founder and organizers of „Film Front“festival of small and independent film productions. He also works in theatre. Editor and associate collaborator on several films of Zelimir Zilnik. Won several achievements and awards: List of significant achievements AFC Belgrade, Audience award for short fiction film „Good morning malignant cell“at Balkan Black Box festival in Berlin 2005. Award for best concept in feature film „Apophenia“ by Flamse screenwriters guild at Brussels film Festival 2009. 2nd. Award for the best screenplay „The Heart of the wise lives in the house of sorrow“at Screenplay Film Festival, Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia.2009. „Golden Brigand“award for the best film „The Heart of the wise lives in the house of sorrow” at Potenza International Film Festival, Italy 2009.
