Mrs. Green’s nerves are on edge. Her three children - Norman, Megsie and Vincent - are constantly fighting, her husband Rory is in war and she hasn’t heard of him for the last couple of months, her brother-in-law Phil pushes her to sell him Rory’s part of the family farm, and her boss, Mrs. Docherty, is really starting to act oddly. On top of all this, her slick niece Celia and nephew Cyril Gray are sent from London to the farm indefinitely, and the village supervisor Mr. Docherty persistently warns him about the possibility that bombs could accidentally fall from the sky any time. All this is too much for Mrs. Green. She doesn’t know it yet, but the person she needs is Nanny McPhee.
