The main question of Katarina is the place, the role, the existence of art in contemporary society. Two contrary and seemingly discrete worlds are put together; getting in touch with one of them seems to exclude the other.

Anikó Zemankó studied music, and specialized in piano. She gained her BA in film theory and film history at the Department of Visual Culture and Literary Theory at the University of Szeged. She is currently the student of visual culture studies master programme.

This production was made possible by the cooperation between the University of Szeged, Department of Visual Culture and Literary Theory and Udruženje Cinema City, Novi Sad, within the framework of the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme of the European Union in 2011, registered under HUSRB/1002/222/072 - CINEMA CONTACT, aiming to promote intercultural exchange and understanding between people in border regions through film.
