Synopsis:
The film shows a train ride through Novi Sad on May 27, 1962 to the old railway station in Grbavica, which was then closed for traffic and later removed. The railroad ran through Štrosmajerova St. in Petrovaradin, across the bridge, through Vojvode Mišića St. and Cara Nikolaja St. (now Maksima Gorkog St.), and farther down the embankment (now Cara Lazara Blvd.) all the way to the station where the post office lies today. This documentary recorded that last ride and the cheerful people of Novi Sad, who were relieved to no longer have to listen to the noise that the steam locomotive brought to their streets.
