At Cinema City Film and Media Festival, a musical documentary will be presented, which is about one of the most influential punk bands, the legendary British band The Clash. The film The Clash: Westway to the World, among numerous interviews, documental writings and music videos, shows the band's development but also internal disputes between members. The original sound of The Clash was created by combination of rebellious punk with their favourite sounds - for Simonon it was reggae, for Jones it was a bit harder Brit rock, while Joe Strummer always preferred American R&B. The Clash: Westway to the World is a remarkable documentary about the rise and significant success, but also about the fall of the band The Clash, the representative of original punk sound.
