An award for best director at 14th international film festival in Sofia, according to jury’s decision with Pierre Henri Deleau presiding, was given to Miroslav Momčilović for his film “Wait for Me and I Will Not Come”. The competition comprised of twelve contending films from United Kingdom, Canada, France, Romania, Bulgaria… The film premiered at Cinema City Film and Media Festival in National Class selection, where it won best screenplay award.
Miroslav Momčilović was born in Belgrade in 1969. He graduated at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, at department of dramaturgy. He is an author of two realized theatre plays, “Belgrade on its knees” directed by Egon Savin and “Life from the beginning” directed by Stefan Sablić and of a screenplay for „When I Grow Up, I'll Be a Kangaroo” directed by Radivoj Andrić for which he received a reward for best screenplay at Film Screenplay Festival in Vrnjačka Banja. He participated in many regional and international festivals (Herceg Novi Film Festival, Film Screenplay Festival in Vrnjačka Banja, Actors’ Encounters, Sarajevo Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, International Mediterranean Film Festival Montpellier, Thessaloniki International Film market, Silk Road Film Festival, Göteborg International Film Festival, Cinequest Film Festival, OFFshore Film Festival, Febiofest Prague Film Festival, Go East Film Festival, Skopje Film Festival, Roma Independent Film Festival).
