Film 21 Grams at the Cinema City Festival Opening Party

Film 21 Grams directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, with Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Benicio Del Toro in leading roles, will be projected at the party on the occasion of Cinema City festival opening, on Saturday, 6th June at 9.30 pm at Petrovaradin's Fortress. Special projection of the film 21 Grams will take place because of the arrival of famous Mexican screenwriter, director and writer Guillermo Arriaga, who is coming to Serbia for the first time as a quest of Cinema City festival.

Guillermo Arriaga is considered by many, to be one of the most original storytellers of today. He wrote screenplays for multi-awarded films Amores Perros, 21 Grams, The Three Burials of Melquiades EstradaBabel and The Night Buffalo.

He is a two-time Oscar nominee for the Best Screenplay, for films 21 Grams and Babel, and for The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada he won Palme d'Or at Cannes film festival for the Best Screenplay. He is the author of the novels A Sweet Smell of Death, Guillotine Squad and The Night Buffalo. In his honour Cinema City has prepared a programme with the films which have brought him world fame and the promotions of his two books which have been translated into Serbian language.

Film 21 Grams will be projected at Petrovaradin's Fortress at the location of ex World Music Stage, in the cinema arena with thousand seats and the film screen of the 12x6 meter size. After the film, at the same place, there will be festival's opening party in which LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, Mulinex, Matt-U, DJ Flip and Ahmaad will perform. Entrance to the projection and the party is free of charge.
