Synopsis:

'Shooting vs Shooting' is an international documentary that wants to shed light to many dark stories that include death, pain and impunity. It revolves around the wrongful deaths of many journalists and media workers in Iraq from the beginning of the war in 2003 till the present. The aim of this film is to demonstrate how the Bush administration manipulated part of the media in order to make public opinion accept the necessity of the war. Also how and why war coverage has changed since the Vietnam era and why journalists are being targeted and trapped in crossfire, when they choose to work independently and not in an embedded status.
