Cinema City film and media festival, which will be held this year from 5th to 12th of June will present rich film programme with three competition selections and numerous retrospectives. Competition selections are Exit Point, National Class and Up to 10.000 bucks. Exit Point brings recent, bold and ultimately different film achievements of world cinematography and presents laureates of some of the most significant film festivals of the world; Cannes, Berlin, Tribeca, Sundance. Awards in this selection are Grand Prix of the festival and best director award.
National Class will screen exclusive premieres and films by some of the most significant local authors, all produced in 2009 and 2010. These films, together with their production teams will greatly contribute to this year’s edition of the festival. Awards in this selection are for best film, best director, best screenplay, best actor in a leading role and best actress in a leading role.
Up to 10.000 bucks selection screens films made with a budget of less than 10.000 bucks and presents young authors from all over the world, who will one day be the future of cinematography. This selection gives award for best film.
