Do not miss some of the best films screened at prestigious international festivals

Selection Exit Point

Exit Point programme of the Cinema City festival is reserved for the most recent foreign films, laureates of the greatest film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, etc. This year Exit Point will take us to some of the most astounding film worlds by reviving the magical fairytale world of Snow White and the seven dwarfs in a most peculiar way, showing the strongest human emotions such as a mother’s love for a child, the most powerful principles of humanity and life’s values through honest representation of the complexity of family and social relations.

Through the beauty of the language of film, Exit Point will tell the following stories:

Epilogue

Israeli film “Epilogue”, directed by Amir Manor is an exceptional story on the last remaining romanticists who never adjusted to the modern world.

Superstar

Nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, this film is a story about a common man of a very peculiar fate. The main hero is Martin Kazinski, average in every sense of the word, who out of the blue becomes an international media star. A dream come true or hell?

Snow White

The film that left the audience breathless at the prestigious international festivals such as Toronto, San Sebastian, and Rotterdam, found a beautiful way of paying homage to black-and-white silent films. It is an original interpretation of the fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Rhino Season

Directed by Bahman Ghobadi, winner of Camera d’Or at Cannes Film Festival and former assistant of iconic director and screenwriter Abbas Kiarostami, this film and its main protagonists, Monica Bellucci and Behrouz Vossoughi will not leave you untouched.

Joy

A story with a twist that will leave the viewers in disbelief , while stylistic black-and-white images awake the deepest of emotions and problematic ghosts from the past of the main protagonist. A Greek tragedy and catharsis at work.

A Letter to My Father

The winner of the 59th Pula Film Festival – a splendidly told story about a father-son relation. This film is the first feature film from the award-winning documentarian Damir Čučić.
