Two (Unlucky) Lottery Tickets

When you run out of luck, then not even winning six million euros on a lottery can help you.

As part of the Fresh Danube Films (FDF) Section, Paul Negoescu, a director from Romania, will introduce himself to the audience with a comedy “Two Lottery Tickets”. With its protagonists juggling between their own boons and bummers on their way to happiness, this comedy will make you laugh, break your heart, and urge you to reevaluate the true meaning of happiness.

Paul Negoescu has directed several award-winning short films that have been featured at numerous festivals, including the Cannes Festival (Semaine de la Critique, 2012), the Berlin Film Festival (2008, 2009 and 2010), Karlovy Vary, and the Slamdance Film Festival. The film “Two Lottery Tickets” is Negoescu’s second feature film. The film was premiered in 2016, at the 12th Zurich Film Festival.
