Academic program
The academic program of the Festival is primarily of educational character, lasting for eight days (6th – 14th of June, 2009).
It is conceptualized as an interactive workshop with all the necessary conditions. As the program guests, eminent experts from the world of film are going to speak about interesting topics from the area of film art and film industry, along with working simulations and constructive discussions with young participants.
The goal of the program is to share knowledge with young authors concerning both the practice and theory of film. This is going to be done through creative workshops, discussions, panels, and seminars led by experts and professionals. Apart from this, through work and communication, possibilities of making new acquaintances which can represent positive stimulations for their professional careers lie before young authors.
Academic program of Cinema City Festival is going to connect the educational program with the side entertaining events. This is going to be done due to the fact that Cinema City Festival is turned towards the young. A specially organized café – restaurant with pleasant lounge atmosphere is going to be organized and available to film lovers.
